Half this book is the original story and the other half is the sequel. Everyone knows HOCUS POCUS so here is what the sequel is about. Max and Allision from the original movie are now married, twenty-five years have passed. And they have a seventeen-years-old daughter named Poppy. On Halloween night Poppy is decided to go looking for the Sanderson sister's that she's always heard about. She comes face to face with them and needs to find a quick solution to save her family in time.
The book was good. I didn't really like the first part since its the same from the original story. But the second half was okay. I like how it was updated for this time. I hope they really make the movie.
I would recommend this book to people looking to read about witches, teens and LGBT and also about Hocus Pocus of course.
