💭My review🐻

Mate was such a fun and engaging read! I absolutely loved Misery and Serena’s friendship—their dynamic is hilarious, chaotic in the best way, and honestly one of my favourite parts of the book. Even though it’s marketed as a romance, the story has so much more going on. There’s a solid storyline, a bit of mystery, and a setting that pulls you right in.

I’ll admit, I’m totally not a fan of the main trope—it makes me mad every time—but somehow I always end up enjoying it anyway, and this book was no exception. It was a true page-turner, and I really loved the overall vibe and world Hazelwood created.
