Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Updated: Jun 25, 2020

This is one of my favourite books from Taylor Jenkins Reid. The book Is based in the late sixties and early seventies and is about a wild and crazy beautiful young girl named Daisy Jones that lived in L.A and also about a band named The Six. This book is all about sex, drugs and rock and roll. Daisy is a beautiful girl and wants to be a signer, she's all about the rock and roll. Her breathtaking voice is really starting to get noticed while in her twenties. She's so irresistible that she has everyone wrapped around her little finger, even Billy the lead singer of the Six. Daisy likes that Billy can get pretty wild like herself while on tour with the band. The Six's also start getting noticed for their incredible musical talents. Then a producer realized what Daisy and Billy have is amazing, and that it can really help both their careers for the best. He decides to put them together to create more music. A lot of other juicy things happen. This book is awesome!! its a must-read.

I wasn't really sure what to think about this book, but EVERYONE was talking about it. So I decided to give it a try and well I don't regret it one bit. Here is what I thought about the book. Once I started reading I couldn't stop, it was soo addicting. This book reminds me a lot of the movie Almost Famous with Kate Hudson. I Loved it!! its one of my favourite movies of all time๐Ÿ’™ This book was an awesome book. Lots of emotions/drama, sex drugs and rock and roll. The interview style was pretty cool I wasn't sure I was going to like it but I did. It was very different not your usual writing for a novel. But It worked very well. Also, the book cover was so pretty and it captured Daisy so well. I loved the sixties/seventies vibe. The story seems so real with all the details the author gives us. I wish I could hear Daisy's voice in real life, like go buy a CD by Daisy Jones and the six. The band and Daisy seem soo real, its like you watching an MTV bio of a musician. I bet that if you read this book or already read this book you'll end up doing what I did. I had to google if Daisy Jones and the six were real. I really hope they make a T.V show or movie out of this book. I will totally watch it.

I recommend this book to people that liked the movie ALMOST FAMOUS and that like the sixties/seventies rock band books. Also that like the sex, drugs and rock and roll vibe and fictional rock and roll stories. Also if your thinking of reading this book you gotta like the interview /screenplay writing style or willing to give it a try. I wouldn't recommend this book for the younger crowd tho. I will always remember this book and recommended it to all my older friends

I give this book 5 stars. โญโญโญโญโญ
