This book is about Clary Fray when she decided one night to head to the Pandemonium night club in New York, While Clary is at the club she witnesses a murder. She can't believe what she is seeing the murderers are 3 teenagers that have a bunch of tattoos and have stranger murder weapons. Some totally strange shit is happening because the body disappears, the murdered are invisible to everyone else and there is no blood at all to be seen.
Clary is about to find out that this is her first meeting with Shadowhunters. And that her life about to change in soo many ways.

These books live up to there hype. It has a little of everything for everyone. Romance- ass-kicking - demons - vampires - magic. I totally like all the characters. They all have a little something special. I love the Jase and Clary relationship. I am team Jace all the way.
I recommend this book to someone that likes vampires and demons and all that stuff mixed with romance.Cassandra Clare writing is awesome and the book cover is so pretty.
I give this book 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
