American Vampire, Vol. 1 by Scott Snyder & Stephen King-Illustrated by Rafael Albuquerque

This comic book covers #1-5 of American Vampire. There are 2 stories in the comic the first one follows a young girl named Pearl who is living in Los Angeles in the 1920s. She is brutally turned into a vampire and she decided to get revenge on the vampires that turned her and abused her.

In the second story, we follow King, the story is set in the days of America's wild west. You also learn the origin of Skinner the sweet, the original American vampire who is a stronger, faster creature than any vampire ever seen before.

My review:

I was so excited about this one because Stephen King is one o the writers. Honestly, it was a total letdown. Pearls story was okay but I totally hated the Wild west one. The illustrations were okay. There was nothing special about the comic, I really think vampires have been played out soo often and it's getting boring. I won't be reading the others. I don't recommend this one ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž
